I have accepted Christ as my savior. I mean, God did the "accepting" of us because of the actions of Jesus Christ. Maybe that's where people misunderstand us, and think we believe we are better when nothing could be further from the truth.
So.........if someone says to a Christian, "You seem different, what's up with you?" should they say, "God accepted me."...??
Nah, that doesn't sound right either. Floundering here...what do you guys think?

Oh, what a good question. I think it really depends on the person being asked. I don't think a standard answer would apply for each person. If someone said to me, you seem different, what is it, I would say, "you know, I have been studying the bible for years, and I've begun to live my life according to it. Everything has become so peaceful and beautiful, and I've given my entire life over to Jesus Christ for His keeping. He has done a much better job with my life than I ever did!"
Now, that's so for me. What might be so for you, or another, might be different. By the way, the mention of His name usually hits people right between the eyes....don't be surprised if they just stare at you!

When someone says something like that to me, I ask them a question.
Them: You seem different. What's up with you?
Me: Really? Like how?
Them: Oh, I don't know. You really seem to have a glow about you. Why are you so happy? I mean, you seem to be happy and peaceful all the time. What do you do?
That's when I can go into more detail about my beliefs and what I do, and how I try to live my life. If appropriate I also try to explain that I wasn't always like this, and that if they had seen me 15 years ago, they wouldn't have thought I would ever turn out this way. But I also try not to overwhelm them, and do my best not to scare them off by preaching to them.

I think you are right with the first line...
"I have accepted Jesus as my savior."
You can't say, "God accepted me" because he loves everyone.
It is up to each individual to decide for themselves. And no, it doesn't make Christians better then anyone else, for Christians still sin too. We all do.

I think you`re nuts !
How much is being saved going to cost you over your lifetime ?
Give your money to the poor or dying children of the world .
Don`t give it to your church for those charities because the chuch takes 50 to 90 % for payroll and expenses .
WAKE UP .
