High school academic requirements are still pretty much the same, depending on what State you live in and if you planned to go to college.

Doors, Iron Butterfly, Beatles, Monkees, Bobby Sherman, were some popular groups so any of their stuff would be popular.

Slang, in my neighborhood: Cool, Boss, Bitchen, Far Out....
