i think of it is going the two procedures. maximum human beings in basic terms choose to push their perspective and could no longer tolerate evaluations from the different fringe of the communicate. Atheists do no longer choose to pay attention what the Bible has to declare while they ask a question approximately God, calling it illogical, that's thoroughly lacking the factor of theology (it rather is not meant to be shown, no faith is). interior a similar admire, many Christians will supply baseless solutions to questions approximately evolution with little to no actuality, thoroughly lacking the factor of technological awareness.

I try to pay attention to what everyone tells me. I'll do my best to look at everything objectively, although that is not always easy. And yes, I will listen to the answers athiests give me.

However, there are many people in both camps who don't. Athiests will dismiss religious experiences as coincidences and Christians will dismiss athiesm as bitterness. It's sad, but the two sides rarely get along too well.

I try to, though it is often hard to get a well reasoned answer. I find a lot of these sorts of posts on this site degenerate into insults.

I actually do care what atheists think, because I don't want them to hate Christians and build even worse misconceptions than they already have.

The fact is, no one in all of history as ever been able to prove or disprove the existance of God. He is outside the realm of human understanding, so this is not surprising.

Your question tells a lot about yourself. To care less about others thoughts and comments makes you an ignorant person. Not a good place to be, hiding your head in the sand because you don't want to hear anything but what you believe to be true?? I'm sorry you feel that way.....really..........

Not normally...

I am used to people trying to put down my religion and they all have the same reasons or "mistakes" to quote over and over and over and over until I have just started ignoring them. They don't do their research and they won't listen to anyone but those who are propagating misperceptions about my religion anyway...

I also find many of them at lvl 1 who use vulgar language and I am beginning to ignore their questions and their answers both...

I sometimes wonder WHY they even read the questions in THIS category... and if they think that the Bible and Jesus are total fabrications of someone in the past then why do they get so upset when I tell them that I think they will not go to Heaven?...

for those of other religions, it does not phase me when someone tells me that Zeus is going to blast me with a lightning bolt... or that Kali is going to do something to me.

And you call yourself a Christian.

Here's a better question:
Christians-Why do some of you assume that when an Atheist answers your question that it's something faithless, because some of you assume that being an Atheist means you have no morals?

And note-No, I am not an Atheist.

That depends. I only come on here (the religion site) for normally 2 reasons. To ask what people believe or to get advice from other Christians. I've never had an atheist offer me a sincere response to the latter, so I ignore those. But to the former, yeah, i pay attention.

Here's an answer from an atheist:

I pay attention to answers from religious people - I enjoy hearing what people with different opinions think.

What I can't stand is when closed minded people (such as yourself - by you OWN admission!) dismiss dissenting opinions out of hand. It's ignorant.

we should care what they think. there is a prevalence in this world to disobey God, by ignoring His existence. if we dont know what the atheist are preaching, we cannot fully arm our children and spiritual brothers and sisters in their faith.

not only that, some of the atheists actually ask questions because they do not understand our philosophical perspective on a subject. by answering a true question we can reinforce our values by research and we may actually assist the atheist in their "secret desire" of finding God.

as for those who just preach hate and call us names, it is difficult to ignore them, but we should. however, save a place in your prayers for them (just as a group) and ask for a "minor salvation" from the Lord, in that He will grant us a freedom from their condemnation and hatred.

just once in a while, think about what makes a bully a bully. that of not knowing and not being able (yet) to bend the knee to their Master, which we will all do whether we desire to or not.
