Hello, I want to install flowmaster mufflers on my car. I know my pipes are 2.25". My question is what size IN/OUT do I need in order to make them fit? Do I need 2.25" or 2.50" to make the pipes slide in a but then weld them on? Please don't tell me to ask a body shop they will never help me unless I pay them!

you will be better off if you spend a little extra money and buy the whole system the 3 inch that bolts to the manifold back is best more power and better sound if you dont want to do this you need 2 1/4 id ( inside diameter) this will slide over the pipe that is 2 1/4 od (outside diameter)

You need a 2.25 inside diamater muffler IN/OUT. this is called a 2,1/4" I.D. muffler
