You bet.

To make the most of your running, consider weekly mileage not daily. 21 miles per week is good. To make the most of it, run only 4 or 5 days per week and include one long day and one speed day. Try something like this:

Mo -- 3
Tu -- 3
We -- 4 with some short bursts of speed throughout
Th -- don't run
Fr -- 3
Sa -- 8
Su -- don't run

Mix in some weights, move your weekly mileage up and down gradually, and have fun.

Sounds like a good plan. Also add in some weight training. It will build lean muscle which raises your metabolism, making it easier to maintain a lean and healthy body. Weight training is good for your bones too.

yes, ofcourse it will. Until ofcourse you reach your optimal weight, at that point you most likely will not lose anymore weight, you will just tone your body more, and stay in shape.
