Unless you pay a lot of money for a prescription from a doctor, you won't get good results from other-the -counter pills. Sure, if you exercise and diet you will lose from the pills, but it will only be temporarily. You Will Gain It All Back. But, if you want a natural appetite suppressment that will give you awesome results, I would recommend H57 Hoodia. I lost over 50 lbs from that by just adding a reduced calorie diet to it. But, again, results vary from person to person.
If you want a prescription pill to help your weight loss, I would recommend Xenicol or Meridia. They both worked fine for me; but beware of the side effects.

drink a glass of water before a meal and eat slowly.
if you are bored then read a book or do puzzles, stimulate the brain instead of the appetite.
you could always take you knitting or rug making in order to keep your hands occupied.
you do not need tablets. that is the wrong road to go down. once you start it is very hard to get off.

Just eat fruit when you are hungry or rice cakes with nothing on them!! Don't have suppressants - they sound really dodgy. Your body probably needs to eat more than usual to help you recover from your op!
Get well soon!!
