Depends upon the size of the glass. If you're holding onto the pitcher, then it's heavy.

"Heavy" or "light" can refer to either flavor, or to the alcohol content of the beer, which is directly related to its specific gravity -- the amount of sugars and alcohol in the beer with the water.
To be considered a lager, all that is necessary is a beer be made with bottom-fermenting yeast (as opposed to top-fermenting "ale" yeasts), at a cooler temperature. Therefore, a beer being a lager doesn't necessarily imply anything about whether it is heavy or light. For example, dopplebock, which is a thick, black, high-alcohol heavy beer, is technically a lager.
All that being said, some people (notably the British) use the term "lager" to refer specifically to a German-style pale lager which is typically light in both body and alcohol content, comparatively speaking.
Hope that helps.

Yeah .. ditto what Michelle O said.
P.S. For the people that don't have a clue about lager/pilsner :
The most popular examples of beer brewed using the lager method are pale lagers, also known as pilsners.

Lager is a well attenuated beer brewed in cool conditions using a slow-acting brewers yeast, known as a bottom-fermenting yeast, and then stored (or "lagered") for a period in cool conditions to clear away particles and certain flavour compounds to produce a clean taste. The most popular examples of beer brewed using the lager method are pale lagers, also known as pilsners.

Lager is kinda middle of the road, lighter than ale but not a true light beer.

Lager is certainly dark, now how that compares to light is fairly obvious but I would say heavy to answer your question. Best wishes

Heavier but you can also get a pretty smooth tasting lager if it is brewed well. Try Sleeman's lager! Wow is that stuff ever good!!! I'm sorry for turning you into a future alcoholic if you weren't one already!

Lagers are typically medium bodied. You can learn a lot about beer (individual beers or styles) at RateBeer.com and at BeerAdvocate.com.
