It's a toss up between prison food and food sometimes fed to the homeless when I was living on the streets. Both at times was unidentifiable.

Shark. I had it in Hawaii at a luau. I have eaten deer meat my whole life. The trick is adding Sage to kill a bit of the gamy taste. I also have had Snapper Turtle and Rattlesnake Stew.

I.m with Dharma. Rocky Mountain Oysters. For those who do not know they are either calf or pig testacles. To me they are not strange but very much a delicacy. Deep fried, they take on the texture of chicken fried steak.

Hehe, deer meat is good. I've eaten a lot of, you might say strange but it is a traditional food here like shark and sheep testicles. It's not tasty but I've eaten it.

"strange" is relative to our own cultures... The thing I've eaten that isn't common for U.S. culture is iguana. tastes like chicken... yes... I had to grow up eating deer meat... not the tastiest of things... elk tastes much better... less game flavor

Chocolate covered ants and this Russian stuff called "hren" it's like a cross between mustard, Tabasco sauce, wasabi, and plaster.... It's kind of pinkish in color... oh and real down home Louisiana gumbo, it was so gross I threw up, they threw in all these crustacean parts, craw-fish, crabs, different chunks of formless meat, pig's feet, chili-peppers, garlic and it was all gray and crunchy and burning hot and disgusting.

raw herring on a hot dog bun with chopped raw onions...it was in Holland and they sell this on the streets from vending carts (like hot dog carts in NYC)...it had a really great flavor but I couldn't deal with the slimey-ness of it!

Also, I grew up eating beef heart...I loved it until I started thinking about how the blood pumps thru it and...

I'm a vegetarian now.
