I survived hurricane Betsy on Sept. 9, 1965. I survived Katrina Sept. 29, 2005. So I'd say I'm good for about another 39 years. Just in case I'm wrong, I stock up on essentials every year. You really should not worry about this so much...there is very little you can do, except evacuate when told.

That is not something that we can predict. Unfortunately; as long as people live close to the ocean; we will see horrors of hurricanes.

what kind of question is this? there is no answer! When will another earthquake hit LA or San Francisco? Do you really believe there is some super-secret weather person who knows these answers and is lurking on Yahoo! Answers instead of being a professional weatherperson? Let's all pray for the all knowing weatherperson who can tell us the secrets of our planets climatology!
