what is the most user friendly carb set up to upgrade a 1 barrell bug carb.. Im thinking off converting to a 2 barrell or mayb twin carbs for a stock style motor.. I want user friendly and dependable settup..??? plzzz help which is the best brand carb?Im a shadetree mechanic and not that good of 1.. But my bug has to have a carb.

until you do things to make power like a centrifugal advance distributer and ported cyl heads. headers and megaphone and any cam shaft smaller than Engle 110 and the stock carb will do nicely with drilled out acceleration nozzle. and 120 main jet and 55 ilde jet. Dual one barrel carbs from Brasil these kits are good for almost 100 hp on gasoline radical cam 1,850cc motor. Volks 1,600 dual port are good with Engle 120 nice lope cam and ported heads with 2 one bbl. carbs for 90 HP. These are streetable motors with tame idle speed.
