Please tell me how you can have physical health eating once a year. How can you have healthy family relationships seeing your family once a year? A faithful Democrat who never votes. Claiming to be a follower ot Martin Luthor King and to favor racism would be dishonest. Jesus said in John 16:35 By this all men will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another."
The Apostle John expanded on this saying in 1 John 2: 3 We know that we have come to know him if we obey his commands.
4 The man who says, "I know him," but does not do what he commands is a liar, and the truth is not in him.
5 But if anyone obeys his word, God's love is truly made complete in him. This is how we know we are in him:
6 Whoever claims to live in him must walk as Jesus did.
7 Dear friends, I am not writing you a new command but an old one, which you have had since the beginning. This old command is the message you have heard.
8 Yet I am writing you a new command; its truth is seen in him and you, because the darkness is passing and the true light is already shining.
9 Anyone who claims to be in the light but hates his brother is still in the darkness.
10 Whoever loves his brother lives in the light, and there is nothing in him to make him stumble.
11 But whoever hates his brother is in the darkness and walks around in the darkness; he does not know where he is going, because the darkness has blinded him.
The first principle of God's love is in John 3:16 "For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son. breaking that down.
Love is active not emotive, God's highest love was not some emotional experience but sacrificial action. He gave His son. Love is personal and real. Love is the Mother who runs up and kisses the skinned knee. Love is the hug for the person who is crying.
There are bad churches and good churches. There are no perfect churches. King David committed adultery, Peter denied Christ. WE follow a perfect God working with imperfect people.
So the answer is if a real Christian did not meet with any other Christians for fellowship and study of the Bible. Their spiritual life would match the physical health on someone not eating and the musculature of a person confined to bedrest.

My take on this is, if you're only going to church once in awhile, perhaps you are not really well acquainted with God's word. Or maybe the church isn't teaching it, maybe the people there don't love the Lord? I love going to church because it is a place where I can learn more about the bible, more about the character of God, more about how I should live. The people in my church are an inspiration to me. They love Jesus and are devoted to the word of God. It's a place where His spirit lives and I find it a very joyous experience.
If that is what is lacking, perhaps you should find a good bible teaching church where you can praise the Lord and learn about Him, all at the same time!

haha i dont think this is a great question to ask on yahoo - ur gonna get like 20 loonies like the one ahead of me saying you must go or else, blah blah....
Truth is, (well the way i look at it), religion is a completely personal thing. You shouldnt let other people tell you what to do. As long as your happy with your choice, thats all you can ask for.
Some people are happy going to church every sunday, some people are fine not going at all. You gotta do whatever's right for you. If you feel guilty that you havent gone in a while and you used to like it, well, just go. If you have no regrets and you think its boring, why should you go?
Point is, its totally up to you and dont let anyone else tell you what do to. However, if your family is going or something like that, you should respect their choice and go with them. Just be happy with your spirituality.

The short answer is yes. Church is not the only place God is. He is everywhere and while it may be hard to stay a christian w/o going to church, it is possible.
God Bless

No, it's not okay. The Bible tells us not to forsake the Church. We go there to learn, encourage and worship. Are you telling God that He is not worth the time to go to Church. Or maybe that you really don't believe. He does so much for us. You can't take one day a week for Him?

No that is not ok. God did not ask for part time Christians. But what is most important is how they behave when they are not in church. Do they act the same way out of Chruch that they show other people when they are in Chrurch or are the like this scripture....
Titus 1:16 They profess that they know God; but in works they deny him, being abominable, and disobedient, and unto every good work reprobate.

It's fine, religion is in the heart. No one says you HAVE to go to church, just pray regularly and thank God everyday :)

Well, I would think so as long as you know JC is your personal savior, you have the faith & trust in him. You yourself know better than anyone the answer to your question. Personally, I am not to judge but I think if your reason is good, it's okay.

Stay away from the church dude. Just live your life how you want to live it.
Do what you want, so long as it don't hurt no one.
