Two ways.
Complicated method first.
Get a dual pin, 6Amp to 14Amp transformer. Plug in the jack to your DVD burner and the plug in the socket. Switch on. It DVD burner should burn.
Now the simple method - get a litre of gasoline. Pour genorously over the DVD burner. Light a match and drop on the gasoline covered DVD burner. DVD burner should burn brightly.
Take care to protect hands and face while executing these proceedures.
Happy burning.

Make sure you have DVD burning software such as Nero or Sonic. That software should be able to help you.
