If so, I'm looking for material to fill my site, especially conversion stories to the church. I'm also looking for feedback, any other Pro-LDS sites not listed, and apologetics information will be posted as I get it and feel inclined to post it. Let me know what you think! The site is: http://Justinodhans.googlepages.com/home

I'm not surprized at all the anti answers recieved, easy two points I guess. Why put something not related to the question. BTW, we do read the bible, and we do believe Jesus is the Son of God. Typical ignorance and anti-mormon rhetoric

To the last post: I wasn't asking for their opinions. I was asking for LDS conversion stories. I wasn't asking for people to remind me they think we are a cult, at least not in this question, if you want to do that, look at my site, and email me your opinions there. Site at the bottom.

I was never really religious, my parents baptized me in the Catholic church, but we never attended church. We would go on Christmas and Easter but that's about it. I got mixed up in all the wrong things in my life mostly drugs and sex. Although secretly, I knew it was wrong it made me feel good so I went overboard with until I had this feeling of emptiness that I couldn't shake. It may sound like a clique but I would go to these huge parties with my buds, and yet I felt alone. After listening to the missionaries and praying, I know that the empty feeling was my soul longing to reconnect with our HEAVEN FATHER and for that I am grateful to all those Elders who I have slammed the door in their face and yet they never gave up on me. ~PS I actually condensed this as much as I could sorry if its a Lil long

Pretaining to you comment about Jesus being the Son of God:
Do you also know that Jesus IS God. As well as the son of God. And the Father and son are One, along with the Holy Spirit.
Father Son and Holy Spirit.
Three in One.
Trinity.
Jesus is also the One and Only way to God our father.

I seem to recall reading that you do not belive all of these statments to be true, in a cult book.
???

I was raised Mormon. It's unbelievable to me what people think Mormons are & what we believe. Thank you for straightening that out. So many people think we are polygamists & a cult. We do believe in Jesus Christ & do follow the bible.

If you are looking for answers regarding the LDS church, perhaps you should do what Joseph Smith did and put some magic stones in a hat and divine the answer, or just "pray on it " as the mormons say today.

"Joseph told Isaac that the gold plates were right in front of them on the table, in a box covered by a cloth. It was not necessary for Joseph to see the plates in order to decipher them. He could read the plates, understand them, and translate them into English, by gazing into the stones. However, in order to see into the stones, he had to shut out all extraneous light. Therefore, he put the stones into his hat and covered his face with the hat.

When Isaac asked to see the golden plates, Joseph refused permission. Joseph said that, if anyone besides himself looked at the golden plates, it would mean instant death for the person. "

Good luck with your "family values"

Hello,

I liked your site, very nice...I think a good pro-LDS site is

http://www.fairwiki.org/index.php/Main_Page

I also have a short video clip (proLDS) that you may want to put on your site.

I am actually researching Mormonism right now, and I am very skeptical (and becoming more so) I would love to debate a little with you if you would like....email at JoshuaFKon@gmail.com

Hope that helps,

Josh

Not! There is only one true bible out there...why not try reading it? Mormons don't even believe that Jesus is the son of God!

I think you mean the LSD faith because as I watched the Angel Macaroni melt into a cheese like substance I said to my friend John Smith"You know with that name,no one will ever believe its you at a motel sign in book"
"Yes" he replied "But I get to sign in with several hot twitches"!

Why don't you, first of all, read stories about Joseph Smith before he founded the Mormon Church. Also, read the book "Who really wrote the Book of Mormon".

A taxidriver in Boston once gave me the book of Mormon. I thought it was a fascinating tale of science fiction which made me want to convert, but I came to my senses and remained Eastern Orthodox.
