let me explain further,we grow and ensure plants gentetic survival,all the play does is give us tasty fruits.after we are dust these plants offsprings dna will survive

Our relationship with plants is symbiotic.

There are three types of symbiosis.
Mutualism - Both the symbiont and host benefit.
Commensalism - The symbiont benefits with little effect on the host.
Parasitism - The symbiont benefits to the detriment of the host.

For an individual plant (food crop), the relationship is either parasitic if we eat it before it breeds, or mutual if we ensure it survives to breed so that we have food the next year.

For a non food crop, like a house plant, it could be commensal (if you don't like plants but still keep it alive) or mutual if you get enjoyment from it.

PS You and your mates talking down the pub is not "a study" :)

I am and only if you are a green tumb, Now if you are talking about the other Plant the herb, LOL Then SOME PEOPLE (not me) ARE SLAVES TO THAT AS WELL. LOL

slave=we are at their becon call to do whatever they want us to do. Do they dictate to us? No.

We take it upon ourselves to nuture them so that we can reap the benefits of their fruit.
