Maybe not at first, but within 24 hours- HELL YEAH!!!!!!!!!!!!
Make sure you get it on the opposite side that you sleep, and try not to wear your hair over it for awhile. It takes a really long time to heal compared to lobe piercings - sometimes up to a year depending on the person, and is much harder to keep clean, especially from shampoo, conditioners and other hair products. I used to do ear piercing, and I would always reccomend that you are really committed. The look is really cute- but there is some pain to the gain

It may... since there is such thin skin there, you'll feel it more. Just make sure it doesn't get infected, and the pain shoul subside in a day or two. If it lasts a week or more, consult your docter. And make sure the piercing is done by a registered nurse, not a drive-by 24-hour place at the mall.

Sorry, but yes it will. It is going to hurt more than the bottom of your ear did (if you got it pierced there)

I did mine myself and yes it hurt. I worked as an ear piercer for a while and did alot of top holes. Its cartilage so its going to swell, be red and quite sensitive for some time. If u are a side sleeper do it on the opposite side of the one u sleep on.

Oh, dont believe those guys down there, I got the tops of my ears pierced..i have em pierced all the way down. Put it this way, if you can pierce your earlopes..you can pierce your cartilidge..its a shock when the gun clicks..for like a minute..but you wont even shed a tear or anything. Trust me

Yes. So it should. If you were meant to have a hole in your ear extra to the one you've got, you would have been born with it.

Yes - when you pierce cartilage, there is more pain than in the lobe.
