My word says 2002, but there isn't any 2002 office to my knowledge. Anyway, how can I see what version I have? Also, how do I upgrade?

I have OneNote 2003 and I want to link to word, but it won't without having 2003.

Open MS Office.
Go to "Help".
In the dropdown menu, there should be "About MS Office". Click on it...
Should tell you.

Open Office. Click Help, click About . And on the top, there should be 97/2000/XP(2002)/2003.

When an office program is loading, its splash screen shows the version of office it is.
Alternatively, open the program, goto help > about. You will find the version over there.

Right click on the Start Button and select Explore. Then go up to the Help pulldown menu and select About Windows. Voila.
