Firstly Dave P

Try and get your facts right before you give them to other people.

Most LNB (Low Noise Blocks) have a single LNB. You will need a Twin LNB or a Quad to start you off. This will allow you to get both boxes working.

As you was not exact in your description I will add a little extra info.

If you are wanting to add two boxes together via RF outlets then you need to do the following.

Go to Services 4 0 1 Select

This will send you to the installers menu.

Go to RF Outlets and change the second outlet to channel 36. I advise all people to use this one except people who live near heathrow as heathrow airport use this channel. You can then link the two boxes together via RF cables and then tune your TV so that you can tune it to both sky boxes. Other channels maybe used by the broadcasting company and cause interference.

As long as you have them on a Twin or Quad LNB then yes you will be able to watch different channels.

I hope this Helps

Hi there. Firstly, you don't say whether your second sky box has a viewing card or not? Secondly, you should be able to run a second cable from the LNB on the dish (standard ones have 2 outlets nowadays though the older ones don't) straight to a second box. Otherwise, a splitter before the cable goes to "dish input" , and a short cable from from one side of the "output" on the splitter to the "dish input" of box one, and whatever length of cable from the second "output" to the "dish input" of the second box.
