We got married at Anne of Cleves' House in Lewes, England. I think now that it was a bit odd of us to select the house that Henry the Eighth (the king who chopped the heads off a couple of his wives) gave to one of his divorced wives as part of the divorce settlement. Not exactly a jolly place, you'd think? It was beautiful though, and we had a fantastic day, and the staff there are lovely too. It's a museum, and it regularly gets hired for weddings. Smathers Beach at Key West! Destiantion Weddings are the way to go nowadays. You'll save a bundle. A volcanoe? that would be too stressful and the planning is stressful enough...

Well... I got married at Hamby's Bar & Grill in Downtown Dallas. I guess that can be considered kind of unusual.
