Dearest reader,
If you continue reading the chapter in Colossians, verse 25 & 26 & especially 27 you will find this mystery defined as "Christ in you" Of course, part of that mystery is how He did it, by becoming the sacrificial lamb for mankind!
Romans 16:25 also talks about this mystery.."according to the revelation of the mystery hidden for long ages past, but now revealed..." because of scripture, God's commands and that all nations will proclaim Jesus as the Christ!
Great question. Read First John and that will help explain the character of this mystery...Christ. Ask that God's spirit would help you to understand.
God Bless,
Darcel

I'm not sure what you're asking. Colossians 4:3 says, "Also pray for us that God will give us an opportunity to tell people His message. Pray that we can preach the secret that God has made known about Christ. . ." There is no mystery. The secret has been made known in John 3:16. Those who believe in Jesus will not be lost but have eternal life.

Colossians 4:3 Withal praying also for us, that God would open unto us a door of utterance, to speak the mystery of Christ, for which I am also in bonds:
There is no mystery to a relationship with Jesus. Turn to Him and invite Him into your heart and life When you accept Jesus as your savior, you will have formed a bond with Him that no one can break. Admit that you are a sinner and repent of those sins, Acknowlege that you know that Jesus died on the cross for your sins, and turn your life over to him. When you do this you are born again, and a new life with Jesus begins. Praise the Lord!!
Then you simply continue on your journey with Jesus and pray with Him and to Him every day, and many times as you wish. You will find that the more you talk to Him and you can feel and hear Him speak to your heart, that you will want and need to talk to him more and more and more. Its' awesome. There is no mystery to a relationship with Jesus. He's standing only one prayer away from you, waiting to hear you answer Him as he knocks on your Heart's door. Will you open it to Him today? I pray that you do.

Christ is the mystery. Ponder that for a moment...
He loves us so much. He is so forgiving. I'd say the true mystery is how someone could possibly be so perfect..but then again, Christ isn't just someone, He is the loving, powerful God who loves us.

The incarnation is the mystery. How can a man also be God?
How can the death of that God-man destroy Satan, sin, and death, and reconcile mankind with God?
Most people still can't explain exactly how this works.

Hidden truth, things that we are not supposed to know or that was not revealed at that time in history. Some of what we know now would have led to the death of those that knew it then or to the destruction of the bible as we know it so it would preserve the truth for later generations.
