Well i tryed that hole church thing. made to go as a kid, Never felt right. I felt like i was out of place. like a mouse in a snakes cage or something like that. I Felt pulled and started a serch of whome i was and where in the universe i belong spiritly. Well i went down some dark and very dangerus paths. one lead me to the underbelly of the beast. so to speek. it lead me in to the hands of satanest. As i was there i releaized what my calling was. as i watched all the "HIGH" preists and preists and alot of there servents just being small little scared childern. that was sucking on a loaded gun.
It took me a bit to get away from them. and just sever all ties. Nothing harmful or anything like that. just did not want them around me.
I Met this man who told me about Asatru. the Viking way of life. he told me about the honors and sagas of the vikings Gods. the more he taught me the feeling of being home came to me . I realized who i was and where i belong. I have come home. Safe and sound.
The jurney i took taught me alot about. the world. As well as about peaple. Now where ever my jurney takes me I know where to come home to. I know my adventurs are far form being done. and i take them on all with a smile. knowing My Gods and Goddess are with me. For i am Asatru. I am Viking.

Like Kain I always had a problem with Christianity, and tried to be a Christian a couple of times. It just never felt right to me. I always thought that Jehovah hated me, and couldn't stand the inconsistencies and hypocrisy I noticed. It seemed to much like a cult to me. So I moved on to study other religions. I have tried Hinduism, Wicca, and Druidry before being called by Odin. The Allfather brought me to Asatru, the faith of my ancestors. Now I feel spiritually whole.

I left Christianity about 5 years ago and have been happy ever since. Not knocking it, just wasn't for me. I tired of being told what and how to believe and I just didn't buy into it all. I have studied ALL faiths & religions and have found a home being a Unitarian. There I can be the atheistic/agnostic pagan I was meant to be!!

i'm not so particular that became the Lord. at first, if you're speaking about replacing religions in words of leaving Christianity, then that became certainly not the Lord's voice. if you're wondering about replacing church homes, then it truly is a special tale. once you listen the Lord telling you to do something, it has to verify up with the recognize God, and the recognize God says to by no ability forsake the assembly of one yet another. if you're making an allowance for turning Moslem or JW, or Mormon, than it truly is unquestionably not the Lord. What faith are you presently? i'm not totally particular on a thanks to address the placement.

I was baptized Lutheran but became a member of the United Methodist . It shouldn't matter what religion you are or if you change religions. It's how you feel inside and what you believe that counts. It doesn't change the person you are and how you treat others.

I am of the belief, that most people will not change who they really are.
I, myself am following my "true calling."
I was raised in a christian baptist family, but until I broke free and started living and being the way my soul wanted to be, I wasn't really being true to myself
I am truly and honestly an "earth witch, or healer"
thanks for asking

I was raised Catholic. When I learned from my husband that praying to anyone other than the Lord was not right, I joined the Baptist church. I've been attending the Baptist church now for several years and have been baptized. I'm very happy.

YET? YET? Why would I want to change my religion? Mine is just fine. You seem to think that everybody changes religion at least once in their life.

I've gone from Seventh Day Adventist, to agnostic. The church spited my mother after she divorced my younger brothers' father, they just took his side listening to his lies when she left him for being manipulative and emotionly and verbally abusive. Also my paternal grandfather was a Baptist Minister/missionairy and when he was in Asia he gave my grandma herpes from a Chinesee prostitute, but when he stepped down from minister he told his fellow ministers that it was because my father and mother concieved me out of wedlock and he was ashamed. You see I use to be religiously devote as a child, reading out of the Bible going to the adult studies everyone said I advanced as a kid, now I see that they just have the mentallity of children.
P.S. dont mean to offend christians I just can't stand fundalmentalists
