And for that matter, why do we say "won't" instead of "willn't"?

and how come the words "comb" and "tomb" don't rhyme? It would make more sense if they all rhymed with "tomb": a comb would sound like "coom", and a bomb would go "Boom!"

If you had a deaf & blind secretary, how would you explain to her that you want to write a letter to Mr. Wright, right now?
