The Knorr vegetable soup mix but with slightly drained plain yogurt instead, less fat, better flavor. Yum

Best veggie dip recipe. Mix one package of dried onion soup mix with one container of sour cream. You can use less onion soup mix if it's too strong. I get so many compliments when I make this. So easy, yet so good. Best to leave the dip in the fridge for a couple of hours before serving, tastes better.

Spinach Dip
1 pkg veg soup mix
1 small can water chestnuts ( drained & chopped )
1/2 cup of mayo ( use lite )
2 tbsps chopped onion
1/2 cup sour cream ( I use no fat sour cream)
1--10oz. pkg frozen spinach
Combine first 5 ingredients in a bowl & mix well. Thaw spinach, drain well squeeze out moisture. Add to dip -- mix well -- spoon into serving bowl. Have a nice day. Enjoy

Great Dill Dip

2 cups mayonnaise
2 cups sour cream
1 tablespoon dried parsley
3 tablespoons grated onion
3 tablespoons dried dill weed
1 1/2 tablespoons seasoning salt

In a medium bowl combine the mayonnaise, sour cream, parsley, onion, dill weed, and salt. Mix all together, cover, and refrigerate overnight.

4oz lite sour cream
4oz softened cream cheese
grated carrot-not much 1 small carrot or 4-5 "baby" carrots
1/4 tsp white wine vinegar
salt/pepper to taste
crushed garlic to taste-depends on the veggies
1 tbp chopped fresh chives

i made this as a veggie dip and another time made it for a smoked lake trout that my husband brought to a work potluck
the stuff was gone
i made it jsut from what i liked and thought of my favorite bagel spreads..... the proportions are only guesses of what i used

Dilly Dip!

1 8oz pkg cream cheese softened
1 16 oz tub of sour cream
1 tbs dill weed
1 tbs garlic powder
1 tbs seasoned salt

Cream all of these together with a hand mixer. Chill overnight before serving!
