I'm 5'7" 1/2 and I'm considered short here in the US. When I go to México, I'm often told by my aunts, "You're so tall!" So there you go.
I consider myself slightly below average height in the US. I read an article on Jimi Hendrix once that started like this: "At 5'10" Jimi was not tall in stature, but he was a giant of a man in the music world."
I was like, 5'10"? That's tall for me! Jimi Hendrix short? Oh well, it's a relative thing, I guess.

it's a little below average, but it is not short. the average height for a male is 177cm (5'-9.7"), so I would say not to worry about it.
