I find it very interesting: how a lot of "atheists" love to stay around this forum and insult God and us christians. What is the "driving force" behind you guys, that makes you answer our questions in such a peculiar manner?
You have 100´s of questions in 100´s of forums and you still invest your valuable time insulting people that believe in someone that came to this world and died for us and for our sins (and for you). Just wondering!!!

Oh, by the way. Please stick around!!! Don´t get me wrong. I know that God wants you to "read" his word. There is a purpose.... believe me.

Atheists stick around this forum for the same reason I do as a Christian...it is very entertaining seeing what other people think. I'm glad that they are a vital part of the site because their questions and answers make me think.

Here's a difference I've noticed between atheists like myself and some others who are religious. I'm interested and curious about ALL beliefs and I love to learn. We deserve to have a voice just like everyone else. I don't think you can say ALL atheists insult God & Christians. I don't. It's just like saying ALL Christians insult athiests......I really don't understand the "driving force" you refer to for answering questions in a peculiar manner??

I wouldn't call myself an athiest. I'm more of an agnostic, if I was forced to title myself. It's more of a state of confusion than a statement of anything related to "faith" or "belief".

However, you are investing YOUR valuable time to try and convince me and others that Jesus died for my sins. The bible is a bunch of stories. I've read it cover to cover, just to get a grasp of why people believe these things, and there isn't any proof of divinity, just claims of it.

It seems your closed minded attitude may be insulting others, just keep that in mind before you get high and mighty.

I try not to insult anyone, but we are in the religion and spirituality section. Beliefs can be offensive to anyone, and that comes with the territory

In the words of many great people - "Get over it..."

Well, this isn't a "forum" or "message board". And anyone is free to use this service, regardless of their beliefs.

Just because some people give questions or answers that make you second-guess your religion, doesn't mean they should not be allowed here. I think this is why Atheists have a problem with Christians, because they think they are above the law and that their beliefs are the only beliefs. In AMERICA, we have freedom of religion and freedom of speech, so if you are offended by other people's beliefs, maybe this isnt the best place for you to be.

I personally try to understand the way that religious people think so that I can learn to coexist with them. Sometimes I have questions for them. Where else can I ask those questions? I don't see any other categories that fit. Also, there are many religious people that have questions for atheists and I am happy to answer them.

Uh...it is xtians who are peculiar...the bible says so.

Titus 2:14
Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works.

Maybe the atheists hope to save you from your delusions. Peculiar manner? You mean intellectually? Atheists have as much right to be here and answer questions as you do. The views expressed by atheists have very much to do with religion and spirituality. Why do xtians think that there are no other religions or spiritual viewpoints other than their own?

BTW I am not an atheist, however I find xtians to be the worst possible combination of ignorance and arrogance.

Why do Christians love to stick around the gay and lesbian forum and sentence them to hell and use awful language in expressing sexual practices?

Surely it's not because they love them.

It's a two-way street, and if the Oh So Holy Christians can't drive on it nicely, how do you expect anyone else to to take them seriously, much less treat them with kindness?

Damn! did you ever hear of a healthy debate? Maybe there are people that have views on religion and spirituality that differ from yours that like to have their opinion heard. People like you turn more people away from your religion than anything.

They come on here to upset us, trying to make us lose our temper, and reply with something as ugly as they have written. I think they will just disappear if we ignore them long enough. When we do answer one, they twist it all around to mean something else anyway, so why add fuel to the fire?
