Double check your CDs with CDCheck. It's free.

If there are corrupt files on the CD it will tell you. It works great on CDRs and DVDR disks also.

It's already been suggested but in case you missed it, try doing the install with the antivirus program off. This is important because some of the installation info that comes with the game advises this. Stuff running in the background can hose the installation. Some software had to be disabled when you play the game as well.

The other thing is to be sure your CDs are clean as possible.

Read the manual carefully and try to follow the instructions to the letter including defrag and that other stuff. I know that this can get really frustrating if you miss even one thing.

Its your computer.
There are still files from before on your computer.
Click you want to retry to copy the file.
If there are still problems I would try to run EasyCleaner (you can download it for free)
Click ADD/REMOVE programs option from it, anything that is yellow or red, click on, click UNINSTALL, click DELETE. Restart your computer. Try to run the disk again.
