8th grade wasn't bad for me.
Just be yourself, be friendly and do your best..and you should be fine.

Be yourself. Know that you are awesome and beautiful, no matter what. This is a hard age to go through and I remember all too well the difficulties of feeling the need to fit in. As long as you are comfortable with who you are, as long as you continue to do the things that you enjoy doing, as long as you do your best at whatever it is that you do best, then others will notice that and flock to you. The most important thing is to know yourself and don't allow anyone else to impose their thoughts or beliefs onto you. As far as academics, the same thing applies, and make sure that you do your homework and listen in class instead of writing notes back and forth, otherwise it may come back to bite you. The 8th grade focuses on preparing you for high school, and you can set the course for yourself now by good study habits, taking notes, and just paying attention to the priorities. This is only a temporary time in your life...you will change so much and none of this will matter to you later. Hope this helps.

My best advice would probably be: try your best to balance your life. I know this sounds really general, but if you make enough time for friends and family but still manage to continue with sports, clubs, and activities along with the schoolwork you'll have to do, you'll be happy because you won't feel like you're slacking off in any part of your life. Start to figure out what kinds of subjects you're interested in because that will help you think ahead for classes you might like to take once you get to high school. Whether you enjoy math and science or english and history... or even if lunchtime is your favorite class, just try to have fun and enjoy your year. If you feel like school is stressing you out too much, take a deep breath and remind yourself that you can do it. What helps me is thinking about everyone I know that have already been through the same stuff. If they could do it, so can I!

Work hard but play harder. Good luck!

8th grade is easy. You have a lot of fun with the teachers and for the most part the material is easier than 7th grade. You really have nothing to worry about. Just have fun, relax, be yourself, and look foward to graduating.

work hard in school. but only as much as you need to. the rest go hang out with your friends and be useful at home. it's all about a healthy balance. like breakfast. think of middle school as breakfast. everyone likes the cereal but if you dont get some fruit in there then you're unbalanced.

take it a little at a time and don't stress too much. its not like colleges or anything care about your grades yet. oh and try not to make enemies with people. middle school drama was just annoying.

you can survive it =]

It is 8th grade, don't worry about it.

Honestly, nothing you do before Junior year really matters.
