I don't want to give my cat away! please help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am allergic to cats and I have 3! This is what you do, keep her bedroom door shut but let kitty go everyplace else. Vacuum at least 2x a week and use Allerpet on the cats fur, it is safe non-toxic for kitty too.

I would never get rid of my babies they are part of the family, and just little people in fur coats.

Your sister is allergic to the cat's dander. That is the stuff that sticks to the fur. It can be dust, dirt, pollen, weeds pollen, all she has to do is take a "claritin" tablet for two weeks straight. This way she will build up a tolerance toward your cat. Keep the cat...they are your best friends.....good luck

I think that the most logical way (if u can persuade your sister ) is to spend more time with your cat to curb her allergy, in the beginning.. she might need allergy pills to urb it but when she is used to ur cat.. i think shld have no problem.. it is the same with ppl who had sinus, they have to sneeze every morning.. and it is a routine act for them.. so for ur sis... just take it as sinus and then spend more time w the cat, I think she shld be quite fine... or take the allergy pills to help... influence her to love the cat and i think she will do anything to play w it and love it too....

Maybe you should make it an outdoor cat. Screan off your back porch, and let it live on the porch. That way it can't run away, and nothing can get it. But you have to check the screan now and then to make sure the cat, or anything else, isn't making a hole in it.
