in general yeah. women can be vindictive b$#$s even if you do everything right. why risk a sexual harassment suit and lose your job, or everyone knowing your business after it ends? this is why you don't crap where you eat. but hey anything is possible so if you want to date someone you work with be VERY careful, know the company rules for dating coworkers and use common sense. peace!

This would depend on your idea of a "bad idea"
Some consequences to dating co-workers are:
1. Having to still look at them every day after you all stop talking
2. Being labeled as a sl*t
3. Having people second-guess your abilities because they believe you are getting were you are because of who you date
4. Having ALL of your business known by ALL of your co-workers
5. Getting Fired-Most companies have a policy that states that you are urged not to date co-workers. It protects them against sexual harrassment claims and if they find out what you are doing you could get the boot.

Well ... multiple co-workers is definitely a bad idea. Unless, of course, your desire is to be the office sl*t. (Oh yes, they all talk.) Dating one might not be so bad, IF you approach it in a mature manner and keep it that way.

bad idea, bad ideas. think about it.. when its over.. what will your feelings be? what will be the outcome if you fall in love with that person and they dont feel the same. or what if they fall in love with you and you do not feel the same. the gossip that goes around in an office atmosphere is grand when co-workers date each other. are you willing to be the object of the gossip.. and is the other person?

i would say that dating a co-worker is definently a bad idea. although you might try to keep it quiet, eventually you're whole office will find out, and that's not always good. plus, if you end up breaking up, it makes things very awkward at work. i say its just not a good idea.

Yes! There are consequences when the relationship is going well and other consequences when things go badly. Both could affect your employment. If there is a difference in job levels (supervisor-subordinate) there is also the potential for sexual harassment complications.

no a good idea, how are you going to feel around that person if he/she doesn't want to dated you anymore. You would feel strange each time you see the person.
