I am not sure about Taoism.

But I am sure that apart from Buddhism, Jainism which dates from the same time as Buddhism has also never started a war.

The Bahai haven't started a war either but thats because their religion is too young and hasn't got control of a country yet.

PS Actually Wideawake42 lots of wars have been started by Hindus and Zoroastrians in the past. Please do some historical research: the Hindu empires and kingdoms of India, and the very warlike Sassanid Persian Empire in Roman times whose official religion was Zoroastrianism.

Geminipetelondon, I think the Muslims are causing the trouble in Thailand as in the Phillipines. It is part of the drive to take over more land.

And Prem Palmer didn't the Tamils start the conflict? But the real issue NO Buddhist in Sri Lanka would want a Tamil or any other human being annihilated. Otherwise surely, they are not a practicing Buddhist.

Religions don't start wars - people do, in the name of religions. Obviously I don't have a total knowledge of all wars started in the name of religions, but I think most were in fact abusing the teachings or prinicples of that religion, and probably using religion as an excuse or justification for a political end.

I've never heard of a Taoist or Hindu war. I could be wrong, though. Or how about a Zoroastarian war? Or a Baha'i war?

Also, Discordians don't start wars. Discordians stand back and enjoy watching idiots kill each other off.
