You are just fine! People who tell you otherwise are just jealous! The important thing is that you eat healthy and exercise. You sound like me.....Never had a disorder...I love to eat! God Bless.

i'm not a petite woman, yet my female friend is. She's alittle taller than you about 5"3" and probably weighs about 100lbs. Her weight-relief plan is horrendous and she compulsively routines. She is too skinny for her correct. yet you eat usually, you workout usually and your well being care service says you're ok. Blow off the former guy, next time purely tell him you're demise of a mind tumor and there is not a lot you could do. Nosy human beings deserve what they get. And certain, in case you weighed 194lbs they'd arise and ask you once you've been on a scale at present, and did you realize you mandatory to reduce weight. you could not win that one. you're fantastic, relish the benefits Nature gave you.

I'm 5'4" and 108 lbs. I love to eat, but no matter how much I eat, I don't seem to gain much weight. The only way I could gain weight is to gain muscle mass. When I used to run a lot, I went up to 115 lbs, which is the heaviest I've ever been, and it was great. So keep up the exercising. I know the feeling; my roommate always jokes around that she's afraid that whenever I go to the gym with her, people will think I have some kind of eating disorder. Just shrug it off because you know you don't have one.

Hi,
You might have a small frame. I don't think you're abnormally thin. The guy was totally out of line - it's not his business to walk up to someone and express his opinions of their looks. Maybe you wanted to tell him he looks like a pile of it, but you're too polite to do so, so now you're suffering this internalized emotyion. However, you shouldn't rely on opinion of other (irrelevant) people on how much you should weigh, oh how you should look.
You can't control what other people might say to you, but you can control how you react to it. Just ignore them.
I believe the standards in US for how much one should weigh are too high. This might be done because generalyy obesity is a problem, so they took the top on the normal range and called it normal, rather than taking the middle of the healthy range. This is just my opinion.
Bottom line: your MD said you're fine means you're fine.
I'm 5'5 and my weight waries around 118 mark (I don't have scale)

I think you're about like my cousin. She is considered slim/petite in France. I'm 5'4 and weight about 110 (it depends - sometimes 105, I don't have a scale). In America, they called me skinny; in England, they call me petite. In France, just slim.
You can usually see if someone is skinny by looking at her face. If you see the bones too much (except if your cheekbones are proeminent - can I say that?), then she is too skinny. Or when you see the bones on both sides of her forehead. Or if she's got hollow cheeks. The size of your wrist IS proof of your small frame (my wrists are small as well).
As long as you have a healthy diet, you're ok. If your doctor said you're ok, then you're fine! Just because some people can't eat properly doesn't mean you have to do the same. Some people look good at 95 lbs., some look better at 115 lbs. It depends on your bones as well, and if you have muscles.
Just to show that I don't think anorexy is good: Calista Flockheart (Ally McBeal - not sure I quite got her name right) was WAY too skinny at one point; Nicole Richie is too skinny; Victoria Beckham is too skinny; Nicole Kidman was too skinny at one point.

There is a difference between looking like you have an eating disorder and you actually having one. If you know that you eat normally and aren't doing things like starving yourself or binging and then purging, then you have nothing to worry about.
Some people just have a small frame and they just can't gain weight no matter what they eat.
Maybe she is jealous of you because maybe what ever she eats makes her gain 20 lbs.

I'm 5' 1" and weight 120 lbs, I look smaller than I am though. My wrists are very small measuring about 3" in width.
I do think you are a bit underweight, you can still remain petite at 110.
Up your protein a little bit and you'll be fine...

beign small isn't always a bad thing... I mean unless it affects your health. ANd if I were you, sinc ethe doctor didn't say anything. I would keep it cool. You're fine. It there was somehting wrong he'd tell you. He HAS TO...doesn't he?
I don't know if age affects it, but I used my phone BMI calculator for guys.. and according to your age and height. YOu're 17.12 when a normal is in between 20-25..so it syas your on the thin side...
oh well, if you eat your 5 food groups, then you'll be fine .. I wish you good luck in finding your answers.

I'm 4'11" and weigh 94 pounds. I don't look all that skinny. I am a good deal older than you, but age doesn't really matter. The guy at the gym was being rude and if you see him there again I would complain to the manager.
