Does the protein make a difference? I guess so. I use it when I feel i need to supplement some protein in my diet. Sometimes I eat a more carbohydrate based meal and want to add some protein to it. If that's the case, I'll drink a shake.

Most of the shakes are just a convenient way to get some additional protein in your diet. You can get the same effect, more or less, by eating a can of tuna or other high-protein source (say milk and peanut butter). Also, keep in mind you can also gain (or get) fat from protein shakes if you consume more calories than you burn, just like any other food source.

If you've got the extra money and need the convenience of a shake -- go for it. But don't expect protein shakes to be some magical elixir... You still have to do the work in the gym to give your body a reason to build muscle.

Good luck.

would desire to be. Your physique can no longer keep protein so it may no longer make you fat, until eventually there is fat in it. you like carbs for power, carb would be made into fat so watch how plenty carbs are in it. The greater you artwork muscle the greater carbs you burn and the greater protein would be used to construct greater mussel. greater muscle the greater carbs you burn.

I think it will build fat if you keep taking it and not exercise. I could be wrong though, but that's what I would imagine.
