The first soul was created out of the soil or elements of the earth, the life of the soul is spirit of the perfect creator, the soul would have to reflect the creator or be outside the bounds of perfection, which is what happened in Eden with 2 humans and a cherub that was anointed to be with them. Gen.6:3; Souls will not have a very long life.
Num.16:22; Eccl.12:7; Isa.42:5; James 2:26; Psm.7:2; 104:29,30; 115:15-17; 146:3,4;
After created souls all other souls are born in sin to a temporary life, short and full of trouble to death. From dust thou art and unto dust thou shall return Gen.3:19;
Plans are made to save every soul that is possible. So the souls are planted in the soil to the day of resurrection. 1Cor.15:22; As in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive. Eze.37:12-14; Rev.20:1-6,12,13;

Heck, anyone can grow his own soul, even an atheist. Be careful with it though, because you only get ONE.
Every human being is provided at birth with ONE soul, due to the generosity of the Creator God, or alternatively, through the random workings of an impersonal Universe that doesn't give a hoot in a nonexistent hell about you.
But the origin of soul is neither here nor there in this discussion. Earthly existence of one's soul depends on body and soul being KEPT TOGETHER, so be sure to provide physical housing of soul with enough water, food, sleep, exercise to maintain bodily health.
Meanwhile, soul growth can be achieved through daily intake of music (don't make all of it is deathmetal or christian.top.pop.rock. The last two can be added in VERY small doses as a seasoning), creating or appreciating good art that causes the brain confusion, intellectual activity that gives the brain a workout and keeps it from being too pleased with itself, interesting and meaningful communication with other beings possessing souls of their own. Also, as often as activities relating to support of physical housing of soul permit, engage in retreats to isolated places where the soul can meditate on nature and the mysteries of life.

That's a good question. I cant scientifically explain it. But If their is no soul or spirit in a living thing, and with all the science and medical technology we have now, In most cases, wouldn't we be able to bring the dead back to life?

no dirt is needed. they have hydroponic souls these days, also mail order souls, and soular powered villages. one of those would be a good place to begin.
start with a soul patch. the love will start there.
buy a ticket on the soul train, if it's still running. it's a long train.
eating plenty of okra and soul food should give you a leg up on cultivating your soul. peas and hominy are good too. anyone with a soul should crave peas and hominy.
does someone you know need a soulder to cry on? be there!!
if all else fails, become a souldier. your own private crusade against whatever you choose will light the path, and help you become one of the old souls we all look up to.

Nope ;)
One cannot grow a soul because it's something that's already given.
PS. All living creatures on Earth do got one. ;)

A soul is included in the delivery of your birth... from then on you need to cultivate it with positive input otherwise it'll die or wither into depression and other mental disabilities

What if it grows too much? What if it out grows your body? Do you switch like a hermit crab? I would say keep it in a cool dark place, away from afternoon sun. Seriously, this is like asking how do you grow flying elephant men.
