My family loves this meatloaf recipe, they beg me to make it.I needed to find a healthy recipe to serve my family because of high cholesterol and diabetes and it isn't dry, it's moist.
1 lb ground turkey
3/4 cup seasoned bread crumbs
1 egg
1/2 cup barbecue sauce (Any Flavor)
1 medium onion
3 slices turkey bacon (Optional)
Preheat oven to 350 degrees (Wash hands before touching the ingredients) In a med.
bowl combine ground Turkey, breadcrumbs, egg, chop onion into small pieces& barbecue sauce.
Mix well with hands.
Spray the inside of a loaf pan with non-stick spray.
Put mixture in loaf pan and mold it to form a loaf, then spread a light coating of barbecue sauce over the top of the meatloaf and lay the bacon strips on top and bake for 45 min.
Serve.
Grilled Turkey Burgers-----One beaten egg, 1/4 cup chopped green pepper, 2 green onions finally chopped, one tablespoon Worcestershire sauce, one tablespoons skim milk, salt and pepper to taste, one pound ground turkey.======== Form into patties and grill over a grill drip pan till the center reaches 165 degrees using a meat thermometer. This takes 20-24 minutes over medium heat or charcoal, turning the patties once. *A drip pan is used under the meat with the heat coming from the sides. This keeps the fire from flaming. You can also broil the patties in the broiler of your oven, but they are especially good charcoaled.

You know my hubby is the same. He is so negative about turkey that I couldn't even get him to consider trying it. So I got some anyway, and on spaghetti night I used it instead of the ground beef. I cook it then stir in the sauce and let it simmer. Well everyone loved it, in fact he told me it was the best spaghetti he had had in a while. Really I said to him, you liked it a lot did you. He said ya, it was great. Then I told him it was ground turkey. He was surprised, and I make the spaghetti with turkey now all the time. Just sneak it in, and don't tell. Then let them judge.

Turkey Chili. Measurements are not exact, I usually just wing it.
Combine 1 lbs ground turkey, 1 can Campbells tomato soup, 8 oz Tomato Sauce, 1 - 10oz can red kidney beans, 1 celery stalk (sliced), 1 small onion (diced), 1 carrot (sliced).
First brown meat, including vegetables, salt & pepper with a bit of oil.
Once brown, add soup, sauce and beans, bring to boil for 10 min, then let simmer for 1/2 hour.
For added flavouor, when serving, pour chili over plain whie rice, between 1/4 and 1/2 cup for a personal serving!!

Ground turkey is great in shepherd's pie and shepherd's pie is great for leftover veggies, if you have them. If you don't, use frozen!
Brown turkey meat in a pan with onion and garlic. Cook thoroughly, drain and set aside.
Take your choice of mashed root vegetable. You can use mashed potato, sweet potato, turnip, parnsip, whatever you like. It works just as well with pumpkin or squash, too - even a combo!
Mash whatever vegetable it is you want and get your veggies ready.
If you are using frozen veggies, don't even cook them! Sprinkle a package of gravy or Bisto granules into the turkey meat, then turn it into a baking dish. Layer various vegetables on top, and top with the mashed stuff. Bake it for about 20 minutes or so, until browned. Some people also like to put cheddar cheese on top to melt, which goes nicely, as well.

If you want to eat truly healthy, lose body fat consistently, normalize your blood pressure, cholesterol levels, prevent cancer, and even boost your brain health and energy levels, you may have heard all over the news that the Paleo Diet has been found to be one of the best methods of achieving all of these benefits compared to any other popular "fad" diets out there. Go here https://biturl.im/aU524
The truth is that the Paleo Diet will never be considered a fad because it's just simply the way that humans evolved to eat over approximately 2 million years. And eating in a similar fashion to our ancestors has been proven time and time again to offer amazing health benefits, including prevention of most diseases of civilization such as cancer, heart disease, alzheimers, and other chronic conditions that are mostly caused by poor diet and lifestyle. One of the biggest misunderstandings about the Paleo Diet is that it's a meat-eating diet, or a super low-carb diet. This is not true

Beef Stroganoff Casserole
1lb. hamburger (or ground turkey works as well)
1 pkg. egg noodles or other noodle
1 can sliced mushrooms, drained
1/2 onion, minced
1/2 tsp. minced garlic (about 1 clove)
1 cube beef boullion
1/3 cup water
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 1/2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 cup sour cream
1 cup shredded swiss cheese
In boiling water, cook noodles according to directions. Brown hamburger, drain fat, add the boullion and water, adding onion and garlic to soften. Add soup to meat mixture, mix well as it warms and thins. Add mushrooms, cooked noodles, worcestershire sauce and sour cream. Mix well and pour into casserole dish. Top with swiss cheese and bake 30 minutes or until cheese is bubbly.
Meatloaf
2.5 - 5lbs. hamburger or ground turkey (depends on how many you're feeding)

1 can tomato paste plus 1 1/2 cans water, mixed
Topping
1 can tomato paste and 1/2 can water, mixed
