If you are absolutely sure and ready for the responsibilities of a serious relationship.....then.., I think now that he told you, soon would be appropriate. When you feel that it is the right moment then it will be.
Please be careful though. I am concerned that you didn't tell us that you love him but that you are attracted to him. There is a drastic difference.

If you are only attracted to him dont say it back just cause. If you do love him kiss him on the lips hold him tight and tell him you love him too.
