why cant i stop living this lie?

you've grown comfortable with it. As much as you hate where you are now, you're too scared to change it. The fear alone of changing and moving on keeps you where you are.

At the moment, you feel that the pros outweigh the cons. But please be careful...you might end up turning a lot of people away if you keep living this lie. Reach out for help, confess that you have been lying but are willing to change. Don't worry about others' reactions. Your best friends and family members who really care for you will stick by your side. They won't be happy, but love will help them through the downward spiral you've initiated.

Start making a list, and you will see that the cons will in the end, cost you a lot more than you bargained for. It's never to late to stop. It will only get worse.

There is a reason that this "lie" is working for you...call it a "payoff"...and as such you have no reason to stop telling the lie.

Even if your lie is in some way helping/working for you (and probably in a negative way) just the fact that you asked the question shows that you want the lying to stop.

You can't stop living because you don't want to die and simply because you are not allowed to. Let me explain myself ...There is an inner battle taking place,(and you are not the only one this has happened to ) a fight between hope and despair, a tug of war between light and darkness, a conflict between life and death! There is this part of you that wishes you didn't have to go on anymore, and the other part of you knows you must, because you cant buy into that lie which is upon your heart and in your soul, to the deepest part of your existance..... about taking the easy way out and even though you may think it requires much courage, it is without a doubt the easy way out. And if you refuse to believe me then prove me wrong and live like we all must live and discover the reasons why we must.

WHOA!!!!!i saw ur ques., and ur a pretty troubled person, ur like 18, u take cocain, use an ouijia (watever) board. u shoulb be trying to figure out how to have a succesful future, life is too short to live a lie, cuz u never know wen ur gonna die. and lieing wont make ur life better, ull get in trouble and lve ur life miserably. u should go to a phycologist, and help ur self start a new life. go to confession, if u believe in godm and dont take more drugs, itll increase ur chance of dying
