I guess you shouldn't laugh, but sometimes I can't help it. If people would just fall it wouldn't be SO funny, but it is always the look on their face and the way they try to grab onto anything in their reach to keep from going down. I laugh my head off everytime I fall- even when it hurts!

This is such a good question. My friend & I still laugh about this.
A few years ago my friend and I came out of a store and I stepped on an icy spot and fell. No one saw me until she started
laughing like a hyena. Then this man came over & offer to help me. I was unhurt and started laughing too. The man started walking away and then he came back & ask me for a date.
I didn't accept.

One day I fell right outside the Grocery store. The man was so concerned. He helped me get up and then we both laughed. Yes, it is ok to laugh but only after you have found out that the clumsey person is ok. We had a good laugh.

Only if the person who fell laughs first.

Falling can be both painful and embarrassing. The last thing they need is to have people laughing at their misfortune. If they laugh themselves to cover up their embarrassment, then you can laugh along with them. Otherwise, just help them to their feet and show some sympathy.

It is worse for you if you do laugh at them. The right thing to do would be to help them up, especially if it is a woman or someone elderly, ask them if they are alright and help them pick up anything they drop. By laughing at them, you gain an enemy, by being kind, you gain a friend.

If they start laughing themselves, I think it's ok for you to laugh too. If they don't laugh, don't laugh at them. It's neither nice to fall nor to be laughed at, so if the person doesn't see anything funny about it, avoid laughing if you possibly can.

It's never good to laugh at the misfortunes of others.

Depends: did you push or trip them? If so, you're sadistic or immature.

Rule of thumb applies here: do unto others...how would you feel if others stood around laughing at you? Or maybe they already do...
