When we die we become the earth again, we all completely and wholly still here just in a different form, after all matter is neither created nor destroyed.

Life is a cycle the same way the water cycle works, we are recycled and are reborn and born a new again and again.

Then why is reincarnation so hard to believe, one life then heaven, come on now, that a little narrow minded.

Don't my views make perfect sense.

Because factually speaking, you were here 5 million years 500 million years again, though not as you, all you atoms and everything your comprised of was somewhere.

So now what are your opinions

Very interesting opinions, eye opening. I agree with a lot that you guys say, and if I don't agree with it, I still take it into consideration.

There is no question the human body decays and eventually becomes part of other life forms.

Our bodies eventually recycle into other life forms.

But, it's doubtful a spritual element is involved. Other than what some call "cellular memory." But that is not the same as a spirit.

Edit:

Once we are dead, realization of time stops, so it does not matter how long the process takes.

When we die, we're dead. Your atoms might continue after you, but you don't exist. You are just a configuration of atoms. That configuration is destroyed when you die. Life isn't a cycle, it's a chain. Life causes life before that life dies. Just the 6.5 billion people on Earth disproves reincarnation. There wasn't a tenth that many just a few hundred years ago. Where did all the new souls come from?

My opinion is that was a really lame rant you were on. Of course the physical bodies we inhabit are returned to dust (but you do realize with the new coffins sealing out air for a guaranteed 100 years, no one is turning into anything, don't you?) Your real question, if I may venture a guess, is whether or not we believe the spirit is reborn. Ask that if that is what you mean.

I don't believe in reincarnation. I think it's cruel. How this one for you. How do you know that when people are "remembering" things that happened to them in their "past" lives that they are actually just recalling something that may have happened to their ancestors. Could we not only carry the genetics to look like our parents but also the memories of their lives. We are made up of cells. We pass that along. How do we know some of those cells don't carry some kind of memory. I probably did not word that right but hopefully you caught my drift. It's far fetched I know but I think reincarnation is far fetched too.

My thoughts on what happens when we die are similar to yours. I don't believe in reincarnation in the sense that "a person's entire soul just goes into a whole new body", but rather the energy that makes me 'me' - my spirit or soul - returns to the universe like a raindrop falling into the ocean, to be reused in part or in whole by another who comes after me.

That's what the name of the band N.E.R.D. stand for. No one Ever Really Dies. Energy doesn't die, it simply changes. I understand, but I don't know how I feel about it.

If our soul isn't the same as the energy we're made of, then it's possible that our energy changes into something while our soul goes to Heaven.

I believe in a life force phenomenon. I do not believe in individuality in reincarnation.

"Once the bag of air is opened, it simply merges with all other air."

Be good.

Don't think so. When we die, our bodies are buried and decay or burnt. Our soul returns to its maker and receives judgement to spend eternity. There are no second chances after you are dead to make something better of your life.

What the ****? You start off by advocating reincarnation, then you say it's hard to believe, then you talk about atoms and bull ****.

When you die, you sleep because the human soul is the entire being, and it happens to be physical. God can make us invisible if he wants to.
