god is truly amazing and we have not the mind capacity to know or even understand why or the way he thinks. So that being said anything is possible.

Wow, space is INFINENT? I didn't know that.
As a Christian, I do not know what to think about extraterrestrial life. Knowing how massive the universe is I find it hard to believe that there ISN'T another planet that has life on it. If there is, and if there be intelligent life somewhere out there, then I am convinced that God, desiring a relationship with his creation, would make himself manifest to those beings just as he has here on Earth.

Yes, I do believe that there is ET life. The Bible does not mention any ET life, but at the same time it does not deny the existence of other cultures away from earth.
There is one GOD, he created the universe and everything in it. I truly believe that any ET must have the same GOD, the only one.
Have you ever thought that God might have decided to create life in this planet and have the whole universe as his playground?? He is Omnipotent and Omnipresent, you never know. Regards

samantha w,
The Bible is supportive of extraterrestrial life.
"If so, do you also think they were taught to believe in the the same God you and I know?"
I don't know about all of extraterrestrial life. As far as I know, no human has reported that they did either. So, saying that I know the answer to this question would be dogmatic and ad hominem.
I do however know, that according to the Bible they already knew Him before humans existed.
"Also, try to keep in mind just how INFINENT space really is!!"
I know that it seems infinite. But most will agree, it has an ending in time. So that would seem to me that there was an ending to the material of all that.

The universe is not infinite.
If you look at earth and give what is needed for life as we know it, the math works like this.
For every function of F give 10% chance for life.
Fz= size of planet, to large and gravity will crush life.
Fat = atmosphere , to small a planet and no atmosphere
Fo = oxygen the planet must have oxygen for life
Fs = Sun not to large not to Small
Fl = Life zone or the zone of the orbit not to far not to close
There is a lot more but just with this you have
L = life
L = Fz*Fat*Fo*Fs*Fl = L = .00001 chance that's 1/10,000 to 1
with all the factors it works out to about
1/100,000,000,000, 000,000,000,000 to 1
or a far better chance to buy 1 ticked in each of 50 lotteries and win each time.

I was once told by a christian friend that aliens do in fact, exist. She also told me that they were demons and the devil uses them for the purpose to get more people away from God. I didn't understand completely so she explained..."Remember the part on the movie Independence Day, where all those people were standing on the building wanting to be abducted and experimented on?" She said that the devil uses any way possible to get to people. He will find anything that sparks a person's interest. Now even if this is not all together true...it's not all that bad of an opinion either.

You're asking two questions.
1) Is there an ET?
2) Does God cover multiple religions.
---------
1) It's not impossible, but it's not on my list to worry about. I wouldn't be surprised if there are aliens. It is a vast space. As far as we KNOW space is infinite. However, it would be very sad and very lonely if we were the only ones in this entire universe.
2) There's no one to say that Buddha is not the same as our Father in Heaven. I'm not going to say that He's not. God has the power to influence many different cultures and many different religions--hence the reason why I will never ask someone to change their religion because "mine is right." I don't have all the answer. Christianity works for me. If you were a Muslim, I can't tell you that it's the wrong religion.
In conclusion: yes, God covers many different religions.

Of course there could be extra terrestrial life out there! But if there is, then I believe that our same God created them because I believe that God created the entire universe. There is also the possibility that we are alone and that God created this entire universe just to make us wonder. Who knows, but it's always good to keep an open mind about that stuff. closed minded people get on my nerves.

Of course there is "extraterestial life out in the cosmos. "god" had nothing to do with it. Plus they are far more older than we are, therefore, if they have religion, they would obviously worship another deity or deities specific to their type of being. We are just a small part of a much larger cosmic plan, but it is on such a grand scale, humanity as a whole may never truely realize or understand what it is or its ultimate purpose.

I think there are, and maybe they were created by the same God. That's a conflict I've been thinking of. Science and religion don't mix, though, so I'm still not sure. But I do know one thing-we'd have to be completely ignorant to think we're the only life form out here. And trust me, some are that ignorant.
