some of the fiercest participants on here never ask. they're on a greedy quest to GET, GET, GET. MORE MORE MORE! why not give points away and feel the satisfaction of helping people out?

I do that too. But someone has to answer first to be able for us to choose a good answer.

Damn when will you people learn the principle of First Cause. Nothing comes from Nothing. For every action there has to be a root cause.

I am not doing this "just" for the points. I find it satisfying to answer questions. When I do have a question, I ask it, but generally if I want a factual answer to a question this is not the place I come to get quality answers. If I want to get a bunch of opinions, that's another story. It's not a matter of greed or giving points away, it's a matter of going to the proper source for a real life question. Sorry, but I would not depend on the users of Yahoo! Answers to fix up anything in my life.

Did you ever think that they have no questions that aren't asked and answered on here, and they just want to help other people to find the answers? And its not like you can actually DO anything with the points you earn anyway.

Why ask a question if I don't have one??? You see so many dumb questions here or questions that can be simply looked up by using google (which is what I do). I come here to help people find answers to their questions and hopefully that is appreciated.
And .... yes to have a little fun too :-)
