Purple looking rash on the side of my leg...?

Just last night, my leg (up by my hip) started to itch really bad. when i went to get some calamine lotion i looked at it and it was about 3 inches long and purply red. is there an explanation for this? please help!!!

It could be an allergic reaction to something you ate or came in contact with. The best thing to do is to go check it out at your doctor. It's better to be safe than to be sorry. It could be anything. Good luck.

may be you got allergic reaction allyou need to do go to your GP for examination ASAP
