Some people may believe we are nothing more than this physical or biologocal body.Well I want them and others to read this completely and share their views.
Normal people(wether religious or not, believer in god or not) become happy after they do a good act, even if their action can't be justified by materialistic laws , for example sacrifising one's self for another person, or to give your kidney to someone else for free.
And they will get sad in their hearts when they do something evil , even if they make a good money(that their actions are justifyable by materialistic laws) ofcourse I am talking about 'normal' people whose heart hasn't changed dramatically.
So if we read between the lines it proves there is something more than this physical world it proves reward and consequence for our actions. >>
this is a feeling so deep in our heart(deeper than one can say because they were taught it in the school when they were child), it is deep there.
Just like we love and want the beauty , we love good acts( even if they dont make sense with materialistic laws).
you know, when something is in our heart there is a response outside, if there is the hunger inside ,there is food outside. if there is the need of love inside ,there is marriage and love outside. For every natural need or tendency or feeling that we have inside our hearts ,there is a response a satisfaction outside. the response to this feeling is that there is more than
this world, there is reward and consequenses.
Things make sense.
If we admire sombody when he get killed, trying to rescue somebody else which doesnt make sense by the physical laws,it means our hearts knows that there is more than this physical world.even if some people has become unbelievers and consciously deny it while their hearts unconsciously act in according to spritual laws.
and yes when god created us he put this in our heart.
Note that I dont say non-belivers dont do good acts, some of them do,beacause the truth is in their hearts but they consciously deny it.and sometimes they act in according to spritual laws without paying attention to it.
peace to you all
a muslim friend.

By the way I did not say god will forgive non-belivers because of their good deeds
, I used their actions to prove my point.

you said "You're telling people that they are doing something for God whether they want to or not. It's telling people what to do and I'm not a fan of that"
no i did not say that they do it for God
or God will forgive nonbelivers because of that.
I just said that about their actions to say that god put this deep desire in every people , and it is natural. and I used it to prove my point.
but yes I believe in order to be forgived by God and in order to have thier deeds accepted by God they have to belive in there is only one God and submit to his will
and orders
that he sent by his last messanger prophet mohammad (pbuh).

Well put. We are so much more than the physical that the mind/brain has difficulty in accepting it.

Human beings are the only creatures at the moment I am aware given the faculty to communicate with each other, to make decisions on the kind of life he choose to traverse and ability to find the reason why he is born. Other creatures such as insects, plants, trees and animals though some of them existed eversince the world begun, their lives has always been to be born, to grow, and to bear fruits or cubs and then die. Nothing much different than human if you see it on the surface. There is a difference though and the question is how did we know that the task of maintaining the world up to its present condition was given to us? Why is the responsibility not given to the Lions we call King of the Jungle or to the elephants whose large heads and bodies are incomparable to any human bodies. Why we, if there is nothing there inside our physical body except those gross parts when disected? Why is it that the destruction of the world also depends largely our inability to take care of it? or our capability to destroy each other?
One does not have to belong to any religion to ask this question and to realize that there is something more than just becoming a human being or why are we called human beings.

Ya, you have a point. And I would add that our feelings actually arises from external environment. That is, when we see or sense an object, only then do we begin to likeness or aversion for that object. Without that seeing, there will not be any feeling for it. Therefore, this can prove that the mind within our nature is the true experiencer of life and the physical body then a shell that allow us to experience it. This something (or Inner Nature) is what spirituality is all about, and the attempt to seek and realize this Inner Nature, through various religions and moral disciplines.

Muslim Friend you make a very good point. The heart or conscience has knowledge of right and wrong. and many non believers do good. but as A Christian I know God does not Hear Sinners. so how with out Jesus are we to be reconciled to God? With out Jesus there is no forgiveness for Sin.

Most people feel that we are physical beings experiencing a physical existence.
We are Spiritual beings, experiencing a physical life.
By the way I'm a Christian. And you are the first Muslim, in my experience, to make any sense. You haven't resorted to name calling and religion trashing. You, I have the utmost respect for.
May God bless you.

Yes, this body is all we have. Our emotions are what they are because they gave us an evolutionary advantage. Humans are a congretory animal. We form groups. We tend to have compassion for those in our groups and enmity for those outside. That has helped keep the group cohesive and protect us from enemies. When we "sacrifice" ourselves for the group, our genes are better able to survive. There are many other examples of this in the animal kingdom. We're not alone in this tactic.
So, don't assume that just because you don't understand why we have a characteristic, that it is not "justifyable by materialistic laws".

I agree with you! I believe God has put inside of us a portion of Himself that we cannot get rid of. I also believe we have a desire to know and get closer to Him. You can walk away from God and deny His existence but Oh, isn't it great when we acknowledge Him and love Him! The bible says to every man is given a measure of Faith and maybe that is what it is talking about. God bless your day and go in peace.

it would desire to be argued that we've developed as a species to have exhilaration centers interior the innovations inspired as quickly as we carry out an altruistic act. it would desire to be argued this might help the species standard proceed to exist. it would desire to be that our super egos, which keep each and all of the scolding messages and inspiring messages approximately how our mothers expected us to be, reward us as quickly as we are residing as much as our very own standards and do sturdy. i could say I even have common human beings and common of folk who practice delight in being evil via fact they beileve it rather is susceptible and silly to do sturdy. you may desire to declare united states of america of america is presently being run via such human beings. It does not logically stick to out of your argument that there is a non-fabric international. you're in basic terms describing people, no longer something greater. i think of that if there's a plane of existance which encompasses a writer of spirit who seeds a fabric international with stated spirit, we people are some distance from able to information or perhaps imagining this actuality. The Tao Te Ching says - the god that could learn isn't the authentic god. i think of which could be authentic.

I'm a religious guy. I go to church when I feel inclined to go. I try to do my best in the way my religion has taught me. There is something that bothers me about your statement though. You're telling people that they are doing something for God whether they want to or not. It's telling people what to do and I'm not a fan of that. I choose to believe in what i believe and if someone doesn't see it that way, I don't go out of my way to turn their head in my direction. Sometimes when I do something nice for someone I do it because it makes me feel good, I'm not trying to appease God or anything. He knows what I've done in my life and I don't need to buy my way into heaven. I do it, because it's the right thing to do.
When one people try to force another people to see it they're way then wars break out. Here we have our fearless leader, George Bush Jr. forcing Democracy on a people who seem hell bent on getting us out of there. Problems arise when you put something in someones face and tell them to like it.
