It was in my records that I should avoid renal toxins.

Renal is refering to Kidney problems. If you have alot of kidney infections you should avoid cola, chocolate and coffee. you don't have to completely stop eating these, but just cut back....you can get a complete list on webmd.com

Ochratoxin A (OTA) is a nephrotoxic and cancerogenic mycotoxin.
mercuric chloride (a model nephrotoxin); cyclosporin A (an immunosuppressant commonly used after organ transplant surgery); and gentamicin (an antibiotic). Both of the latter can induce nephrotoxicity upon chronic administration.
Cisplatin is one of the most widely used chemotherapeutic agents for the treatment of several human malignancies. The efficacy of cisplatin is dose dependent, but the significant risk of nephrotoxicity frequently hinders the use of higher doses to maximize its antineoplastic effects.
