why cant china build their own weapons, instead of stealing Americas designs?

what I have been able to put togethor is since the cold war, china has been stealing Americas military designs. can china do anything on their own or do they have a reputation of stealing. do you think that a nation that steals other peoples designs have a chance of winning a war against the actual creaters? and just for starters. America had made the most powerful nuclear weapon, and coincidentally, the chinese devolups the same weapon a few months later. that is partly proof that they steal designs, they are not a strong nation. they are thieves. do you think they would actually win a war against the true creaters? why of why not?

Communism is inherently fatal to technological advances. They punish failure severely, usually death, and hide the mistake so no one can find out about it.
We do not bury all of our mistake so we learn from them.
btw- for the clinton lovers, he's the one who made the transfer of high technology to China possible, until then they couldn't stage a rocket properly. After that, they targette the US with at least a dozen nuclear warheads.

The USA spends a LOT of money on weapon development that other countries are unable or unwilling to spend. Most of this money circulates within the USA economy helping in many areas of economy and technology...

It is much cheaper for another country to steal our designs than it is for them to build it from scratch on their own...

China has 2/3 of the world's population... if they could deliver their people to a war zone quickly... they would win almost any fight...

I don't believe China is as much a threat as someplace like Iran where the government is not strong enough to protect nuclear weaponry well enough.. or they are willing to sell the weapons to anyone who can pay a good price for them.

the both of them were working on the same project, but just the americans completed it a few months before thats why.

Chinese could have never steal designs from the pentagon.
The pentagon is too secure for that.

And plus, it was the jews and the germans who actually created the nuclear bomb not the true americans.

Think of it this way, America creates a new weapon which costs billions and 7 years to make. China steals the designs and manages to make a working prototype in 2 years with a fraction of the cost because they don't require any research. If they continue to take other countries designs they will eventually reach a par with them (as well as saving billions) then they can start desiging their own.

p.s. for PROZWORLD: the German scientists America used for creating the atomic bomb did come from Hitlers Germany but that wasn't because they wanted to end the war and were tired of Hitlers regime. They were simply given the choice: we forget your past as long as you come to live in America and build us an atomic bomb before the Russians do. Towards the end of WW2 there was a race between Russia and USA in order who could get their hands on the German scientists first in order to make a nuclear bomb because it was well-known that Hitler almost succeeded in creating one. He would have needed another two years maximum. It was at that point already the cold war started

Why do your own if you can obtain proven design from Americans? Weapon building is dangerous, and they are skipping alot of the danger.

I think they could win a war against us. THey could equip more soldiers than the entire population of the United States. Numbers still count.

read the history of Tsien Hsue-shen. he was a rocket scientist employed by the US Army during world war II where he held the rank of Lt. Colonel.

Eventually, though, Tsien was forced to leave, deported, and with permission by Eisenhower, he was allowed to leave the USA.

In China, he started up China's rocket program and guided it to where it is today.
