The vibrotone guitar works very well from what I have heard.

Oh wait, this isn't the guitar area, so you probably aren't asking about that. You know, a link to the product you are asking about would be a great idea.

Are you asking about the UK system for reducing cellulite?

Or are you asking about the vibration system described here?

I would be dubioius about reducing cellulite by vibration, I would need to see some actual science behind it.

I can understand the idea behind the vibration platform workout. This is marketed by several different companies such as:
http://vibrogym.com/en/
http://soloflex.com

Basically you stand on the vibrating platform and slowly do deep knee bends. The fact that your body is vibrating causes more muscle fibers to activate to keep you steady as you do the movement. This causes more calories to be burned and better definition in the muscle. In theory it should work. But I have never tried it.

Of course you can also sit on the platform and do sit up, etc. I would comparison shop and go for a larger platform rather than a smaller one. And if you don't own your own house, I would definately be concerned about how it sounds to the people downstairs. Their ceiling may start loosing the plaster from the virbration for all I know.
