Bleach should do the trick. Is there a spot where the urine can run under the linoleum? You are not getting all the smell somehow. I have linoleums in most of the rooms that the dogs use and do not have trouble with the smell. Are there rugs in there that they are using? Best thing to do is take them up because they hold the smell in even after washing.

I have 3 min. pins, they are great dogs don't you think. However I have the same problem with them. I use a mop with hot bleach water to take care of the urine and remove the smell so that they don't always think the place is a potty place for them. There are local sprays at pet shops you can get to detour them from urinating in the area and pee pads you can put down in the area and dispose of later.

I recently got the book. What If My Dog.... at the local bookstore and it is great, it tells how to stop dogs from peeing in the house, peeing on the furniture, walls, etc. And tells you how to house break them, train them, get rid of vomit, blood, and so much more. Stop them from barking and fighting. This is a must have for all min pin owners.

Wash floor thoroughly with bicarbonate soda in water if tiles, floorboards or vinyl. If carpeted , sprinkle liberally with dry bicarb, brush in , leave overnight and vacuum up next day. Works well. My vet told me never use vinegar as it smells similar to urine to an animal and you will end up with the same problem over again!! cheers :) Just an afterthought, dont apply dry powder to wet carpet! it will turn to a paste and take forever to dry out and remove the residue....

Pet stores like Petsmart sell something that remove the smell. Bleach and Mr. Clean won't help. Ammonium will actually attract dogs to pee in the same spot. You know those "pee here" aids that you spray on your lawn to get the dog to pee in that spot? They are ammonia based. They make really good products at Petsmart, I would check out their website. Good luck!

Try lemon juice. And go get some spray from a garden center designed to repel dogs and cats until they break that habit.
