Yes these things are very possible, but remember that the Omen was making the descriptions in the Bible relevant to modern day. The Bible came first, not this movie. By the way, I saw this movie and I thought it was very good, I reccomend it.

The book of revelations was included in the bible only because ONE man decided it should have been, and that wasn't untill almost 400 years after the death of Jesus - why people think it acutally means anything is still a mystery to me - other than they have bene told it means something by other people.

Why not believe in the Norse end of the world stories? or the Navaho myths? They are just as valid.

What Christian denomination actively promoted "The Omen"? And who says the action picture became meant to scare people into believing in God? i'm particular it became meant purely to make funds at a time even as non secular "horror" video clips like "The Exorcist" were in style. You defence of babies might want to be more beneficial effectual aimed in the route of kid pornography particularly than this one action picture.

If you like that sort of stuff, read Good Omens by Terry Pratchett and Neil Gaimen. It's actually a comedy about the end of the world. I highly reccomend it.

No. The events depicted in the film, and in the Bible, depend entirely on magic--a suspension of reality. There is no such thing as magic. The whole thing os just one more of dozens of myths about the end of the world. Big whoop.

the events though would not take place as is written because your taking someone into the future. for example how would a roman describe an apache helicopter ?

ROFLMAO
only in a LIBERAL dream!

Satan is coming as Christ, the ideal Liberals version of Christ, To them and many so called Christians (or what I call xhristians) he is perfect.
A 1,000 times better than Bill C.
If you like Bill C. you will love the Anti-Christ!

Given enough time he would even deceive the Elect of God.

I think George W. Bush is the anti-christ already. He certainly seems to be leading us towards Armageddon.

No because Satan never killed anyone in the bible. Sure he made Job a little uncomfortable, but still, he is not a murderer. God is a murderer. He killed hundreds of millions in a worldwide flood. He also killed first born babies. What kind of God kills babies? It's not Satan that you have to worry about, it's God.
