Drink plenty of water. This should increase your milk supply. You don't need to drink a beer or wine, water or juice is best!
Your body will automatically increase it's supply depending on the amount of times you are nursing or pumping.
Good Luck

I have read about an herbal supplement called fenugreek. You might want to look it up online to do a little research and also ask you doc if it is OK to take! From what I understand it has worked well for a whole lotta women, but I'm not this whole mother earth nut, I believe in checking out the facts before I take a risk like that. Just thought I'd set you down at least one path that might help! Also sorta unrelated, but I saw this breastfeeding bracelet that would have helped me sooo much when I was feeding my munchkin. It has this charm that you move to the time of day when you last fed (or pumped), and also you switch the wrist you wear it on to the side you last fed on, this helps prevent mastitis, or engorgement! you might try googling it or looking on eBay, I am pretty sure they are cheap!

My doctor always said that if I got low on breast milk, I could have a beer after I pumped. She said it increases the amount of milk. I have no idea why though, but never complained about having a beer every once in a while!

Drink a half can of beer and feed your child from the breast. Pumping does not give the natural stimulation to produce milk like your child will. If you have a latch problem, find help. I suggest LaLache league. Good luck

Your breasts produce milk on demand. Sucking does work better than pumps, but from the pumps the electric ones are best.

If you keep taking your prenatal vitamins that can help. You can run out of breast milk if you don't eat enough of good for you foods. Now is not the time to diet.
