Two Years if your freezer has been working in good condition It "should be" ok but Thaw it and check it over, like if it smells then toss it. Remember it may have freezer burn and sometimes that will change the taste. I usually freeze it first unwrap the frozen meat, wrap it in wax paper or seran wrap & seal it in a "FoodSaver" bag which takes out all the air. I do have a web site that may help you more though as this is my own personal opinion

The meat will never hurt you, it just tates nasty if it is old. Usually you can tell by the look and smell of it. The origional package is great if it is vacumed sealed. If it is in that styrofoam tray with lots of air, there is no way it can make it two years. Usualy about 3 months in that kind of packaging. Vacume sealed meat is probably ok for 2 years.

If it was pork do not eat it - the average household freezer is only capable of keeping pork for three months. Beef would remain edible for about 1 year. However, I would try it if it was beef.......
