Munchie,

The sites below should keep you busy for hours. They're a lot of fun and give you the meanings of names so you don't give a name the baby might regret. I've heard that boys don't like being given the name Sue - Johnny Cash even sung about that. The name 'Portia' apparently means like a pig so, unless she looks like one, is perhaps also a no no. The top 25 names are:

To be honest i was very nervous choosing my little girls name as i knew she would have to live with my decision for the rest of her life... I like your choice of Liam for a boy as i think a boys name should be 'boyish' and something the child can live with. Girls names can be more adventurous. I Iike Stevie for a girl and james for a boy.

For a boy I like....

Blake... now that's a hot name.

and for a girl I LOVE my name...

Whisper....and yes it is my real name and no my mom was not a Hippy.

And then just think you could tell your daughter you named her after some girl on the Internet. Then just maybe I wouldn't be the only Whisper in the whole wide world!!!!! hehehe. Good luck. Go with something diffrent.

6 years ago my friend had a little girl-she called her india and for a while we all thought that she was bonkers, but after a while the name really grew on us. She has just given birth to a little boy and called him river, and surprisingly we really like the name. She also has an older boy the same age as my oldest son and he is called zenith- i really like these hippified names and i do believe it is nice to be different.
