You just end up with a bunch of ignorant unhealthy illegal immigrants. If the feds can't keep them out, let's at least keep them healthy and out of trouble, and let justice figure out how to use our tax dollars for nation protecting at home, instead of nation building overseas. As it stands, we're out making more enemies, and we still aren't guarding the back door. Dum dum dum.

AMAZING. Nobody has answered the question, but given me answers to a question I haven't asked, if they provided any "answer" at all.

Your points sound valid, on the surface. If we are to allow them to stay in our country you are correct. We want them to learn and be healthy.
The reality is we should deport them. Improve our borders, jail emploers who employ them and deny benefits to them. If we do a good job of denying bennies to them, and denying them jobs they will go home on their own.

Oh Bravo, Solly!!! You make a valid point! I continue to believe that the present administration is only trying to keep hatred of other nationals alive (as a means of maintaining Republican popularity, e.g., the recent trouble in Iran?). They, government leaders, really don't intend to rid our country of illegal aliens... else wise, who'd construct their highways, build their pools and patios, and raise their children!!!
In answer... society is not benefitted by keeping anyone out! After all, lest we forget that most of us would not be in this country had our foreparents not migrated.

I think they still need immunizations and emergency care, but on emergency care they should be deported when they stabilize. What we do with those here being besides the point, what do you think it is that makes it a better life that draws them? For a lot of them it is the social services they and their children will have, free (to them) health care and education. Meanwhile schools for our own kids are in the toilet due to all funds being siphoned for the huge educational 'problem' of ESL education, and our own children's education and future are jeapardized. Look at the LAUSD.
If you dismantle the benefits, they may NOT come.
We definitely need border security and visa tracking, as well.

Who are you calling "dum?" I think that title fits you very well! Read the very intelligent, informed answers you have received to your "dum" question and then get back to us. I agree with DAR - only give them true emergency care and immunizations and then deport them asap! Do NOT allow them to register for school! These are the very things that act as incentives to these people to come on over here illegally! I am all for all the cities who are bravely and patriotically enacting their own laws to protect their communities from illegal immigrants and I hope they will go even further by not allowing the illegal immigrants any free social services WHATSOEVER, other than emergency help as mentioned above (medical emergency care and immunizations) and then ship 'em out!! When they try to apply and are caught, deport them immediately - no recourse!

Very good point, no one wants to see what the negative outcome would be if we did this. If we have uneducated people the crime rate will go up because they will not be skilled enough to get a job, and even if they do they will be taken advantage of so they will resort to others means of getting what they need. We don't need unvaccinated, sick people roaming our streets, malls, grocery stores. I agree we are making more enemies I have stated that myself, I don't understand why no one else sees that. Other countries are going to look at us as say damn, that country doesn't like people of other colors, origins, nationalities we need to do something about it. We already have enough people against us I suggest we don't make any more.

I heard on the news (I'm a UK native) that some areas have hospital beds taken up by Eastern Europeans who will not leave as they have "nowhere to go". These human offal are stopping the needy getting treatment. Too bad if I offend anyone - the truth hurts. WAKE UP PEOPLE!!!
